TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE -- PROGRAMS DEVELOPMENT & EVALUATION
Program Development. Tailoring new programs to meet identified community needs, developing appropriate linkages and potential collaborations with other service providers, and identifying mobilizing resources to support program implementation are all critical components of the program development process. CCSNYS staff provides technical assistance in all areas of program development including reviewing proposals for funding and facilitating collaborative program development efforts.
Program Evaluation. Increasingly, programs receive funding based on their ability to meet measurable goals and objectives. CCSNYS can provide assistance with the development of evaluation strategies and data collection tools that assess both the process and outcome of program implementation. Evaluation strategies will typically include the collection of both quantitative and qualitative data and the creation of manageable methods to gather both types of information. Because establishing project goals and objectives is the first step in developing an your programs, program evaluation is ideally built into the program development phase.
